I was quoted a price by Safeco & as soon as they had my money & I signed the paperwork, I was asked to prove my mileage or rates would go up. Since we only recently purchased a second car, we are being asked to prove on "history of vehicle" mileage & not our current use. I should have gone back w/ Travelers since they were only slightly higher! Add comment

My home was robbed. A 25,000.00 loss. My sons hoodlum friend robbed my home. He was not charged even after handing him to the police. The scab investigator for Safeco William Evans, went on the statement of second hand info from the police, heard by the thief that stated " He told me to go to his house and I could have anything I want." Holy ***, the thief who was given a free ride said , he told... Read more

Most difficult insurance company ever!!! John in claims is a complete ***. He clearly doesn't know how to read a simple renters policy as he quoted me one thing and then tried to claim he didn't say it. My phone calls are all recorded and therefore I proved he was lying. That company hires people who are ***. Don't mess with them under any circumstance Ull never get decent costumer service! Add comment

Just received my renewal notice with Safeco. I'm glad I noticed a significant change regarding Hail and Windstorm Deductibles. The new policy states that these areas of coverage will now be subject to a deductible which is 2% per 100,000 coverage. That would cost me a $6500.00 deductible before Safeco would pay a claim on my home. Sorry Charlie, aside from fire destruction what's the benefit? I... Read more

My name is Dean, I had deer hit back in 3/29/14, had it repaired at Abra with a faulty front bumper for less than a year. The right side of bumper became loose, took it back 3/5/15 and was accused of had it involved in another accident by both the shop and Safeco appraiser with no damage to the bumper. Safeco appraiser Timothy gave me more than 10 scenarios of what might caused the damages... Read more

I canceled my policy when I was told by the representative that my policy was paid thru , and was told I would not owe anymore. The next month after cancelation I receive a bill. The bill is stating it is for coverage they provided. When I called, they stated it is a fee that Safeco puts in place in my state. No one knows what is going on and when your premium is expected to come out. The... Read more

SAFECO client rear-ended my vehicle. About 8+ weeks later 39+ phone calls, emails, certified mail and the multiple threats to litigate. A nightmare to say the least. Typical previously reported lies: Client hasn't responded, daily call back that never arrives but message that they "call back the same day" - not. Out of office - but no voice mail indication to that effect. Server was down and... Read more

I had the opportunity to get renter's insurance and car insurance bundled together with my current insurance as they were charging me anywhere between $19.95 to $24.98 a month for renter's insurance and I went with State Farm for my auto and renter's insurance where it is only $9.00 a month and when they refunded my premium of $24.58 they only gave me a partial refund of $16.00 and when I called...
